LA LA LUXE is a nano bead hair extension salon in Runaway Bay, Queensland. We are a fully booked salon - founder Chloe has grown her client base and has clients travel far and wide, including internationally too with a waitlist that's outgrown her. We're looking for an experienced nano bead technician - most likely UK-trained, because that's where the method is taught - to take on our waitlist and continue to grow the La La Luxe brand.

I opened LA LA LUXE because I couldn't find the kind of extension work I wanted to do - discreet, customised, one client at a time, with a method that's genuinely kind to fine hair. It's grown faster than I planned. The waitlist is the reason this page exists.

What you'd actually do

The work, day to day

Every client starts with a free consultation, so a lot of the job is listening, what they want, what their hair can take, what will actually suit them. Then it's the install: colour matching against the swatch wall, sectioning, placing beads, cutting and blending so nothing shows. Move-ups every six to eight weeks bring the same clients back, so you get to know them.

You'll already know nano beads. Sectioning, cutting and colour need to be second nature too - every install finishes with a cut and blend.

Who we're looking for

What we need from you

Hands-on nano bead experience - installs, refits, colour matching. This isn't a role we train from scratch.

A recognised hairdressing qualification and time on the floor.

Strong cutting and colour fundamentals - sectioning, blending, colour matching.

Comfortable working one-on-one with a client for a couple of hours at a stretch.

Ready to relocate to the Gold Coast, and realistic about what that involves.

Right to work in Australia now, or willing to go through sponsorship with us.
